GENERAL RELEASE - HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, know that the undersigned in consideration of permitting me to participate in the " Haudenosaunee Wooden Stick Festival, program and/ or event has remised; released and forever discharged, and by these present do myself and for my heirs, distributes, executors and the Indigenous Values Initiative, Festival organizers, servants and employees of and promises, damages, judgements, executions, claims and demands whatsoever, in law or in equity, which against the Indigenous Values Initiative, the Festival organizers, employees, I ever had, now have, or which myself, my heirs, distributes, executors or administrators, hereafter can, shall or may have for, upon or by reason of my participation in the above mention program hereafter.

I willingly and voluntarily assume all risks in connection with my participation in the aforementioned program their events and in use of the facilities and equipment related thereto and this release is expressed executed and delivered to the Indigenous Values Initiative for the express purpose of enabling me to participate in said program and/or event.

I, shall indemnify and hold harmless the Indigenous Values Initiative, the Haudenosaunee Wooden Stick Festival organizers, employees and assigns from any liability arising directly out of my negligence in connection with this program, and/or event including but not limited to payment of all fees for my attorney and all incidental litigation expenses in the event that the Indigenous Values Initiative, and the Wooden Stick Festival organizers, employees and assigns are sued upon claim resulting from my negligent actions or performance.
